Bitcoin ETF inflows surge past $3B in August, paring year-to-date outflows
Bitcoin spot ETFs have drawn more than $3 billion in August inflows, cutting the year-to-date net outflow deficit by more than half after a 23% weekly rally. Bitcoin traded near $79,000 on August 26 following a push from $62,000 earlier in the week, with falling US bond yields cited as a driver.
Why it matters for the crypto market
Major institutional capital is flowing into Bitcoin ETFs after a sharp rally and macro shift in yield expectations, a key sign of institutional conviction and a reversal of year-to-date outflows.
