BitGo secures South Korea institutional crypto custody license
BitGo Korea received regulatory approval as a virtual asset service provider (VASP), ahead of stricter licensing requirements that took effect two days later. Backed by Hana Financial Group and SK Telecom, it is the first global crypto company to obtain this license through a locally registered entity.
