Stripe-owned Bridge gains EU stablecoin provider license
Bridge, owned by payments company Stripe, joined the European Securities and Markets Authority register of regulated stablecoin issuers following Luxembourg approval. The move brings Bridge under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework.
Why it matters for the crypto market
MiCA registration enables Bridge to offer stablecoin issuance across the EU under a single license, expanding regulated crypto infrastructure in Europe's largest single market.
