Hungary removes mandatory crypto checks as first EU crypto license is granted
Hungary repealed a requirement for mandatory third-party verification of crypto conversions, and simultaneously granted CoinCash the first authorization to operate under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) licensing framework.
Why it matters for the crypto market
The first MiCA license being issued marks a concrete milestone in the EU's effort to create a single regulated crypto market across member states.
